HCA 3030 - Health Plans and Insurance This course provides an overview of health insurance in the US from the perspectives of key stakeholders. Topics addressed include basic terminology and history of the industry, and “visioning” of the future of health insurance. The focus of the course is on sensitizing healthcare administrators to the clinical, financial, and administrative implications of various approaches to health plans and insurance, as they function to both enable and manage access to healthcare.
