Program Description


New England College’s Master of Science in Management offers academics and working professionals the skills required to effectively manage human capital within a variety of organizations.   Our student-centered approach fosters a collaborative and supportive learning environment that will further students’ theoretical and practical knowledge in managing an organizations most valuable asset: people.   Students will develop strong foundations in communication, strategic thinking, and organizational leadership, skills that can help further a career or launch a career in a new direction. 

This 36-credit MSM can be completed in less than two years.  The course delivery and structure are specifically designed for flexibility, allowing students the most efficient use of time and the ability to optimize the learning experience.   Students pursuing their MSM will take 16 core credits coupled with 20 credits of concentration classes.  Students have the option to select from a diverse range of defined concentrations, including Healthcare Administration, Non-Profit Leadership, Real Estate Management, and Project Management.

Learning Outcomes


  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate through verbal, well-written professional documentation and reports, to express ideas clearly, logically and persuasively;
  • Apply management skills and concepts to analyze and create solutions to complex organizational problems through financial, economic, and organizational constraints;
  • Distinguish and formulate solutions to ethical, cultural humility, and inclusion issues;
  • Differentiate and apply knowledge and skills (strategic planning, leadership, project management, and research methods) to analyze and evaluate options for effective decisions considering all stakeholders.

Real Estate Management Concentration


Learning Outcomes

  • Apply effective communication, problem solving, and critical thinking as they relate to coaching and mentoring stakeholders in diverse real estate organizations;
  • Evaluate financial techniques and decision-making styles on real estate investment risks and returns;
  • Create development and project feasibility plans using market methods, ethical decision making, and stakeholder demands;
  • Evaluate interaction and conflicts among personal, professional, and organizational values.
