Accelerated Program Requirements
(BS & MS in Computer Information Systems in 148 credits)
Students wishing to pursue both a BS and MS in CIS can apply to participate in the accelerated masters program. Under this degree path undergraduate students complete 12 MS CIS credit hours while pursuing a BS in CIS. These credit hours will count as required hours for both the BS and MS degree, allowing students to complete a BS and MS in 148 credits instead of 160. Students wishing to pursue this option must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0, approval of the Associate Dean of the Management Division, Dean of Undergraduate Programs, Dean of Professional and Graduate Studies, and acceptance into the School of Graduate and Professional Studies.
