AC 5255 - Accounting for Leaders This course prepares students to efficiently lead and influence in conditions where fiscal issues play an integral role in organizational success. Student examine accounting processes, economic concepts, and financial tools utilized by leaders to assess financial conditions influencing performance. This course introduces the concepts and principles of managerial accounting and covers cost accounting systems, budgeting, budget variant analysis, ethical accounting and decision making, and the relationship to leadership and the strategic decision-making process.
