PO 2420 - World Geography

The purpose of this course is to develop a broader and deeper understanding of the world based on a deep review of political, environmental, and cultural geography. In each week of the course, one of the world’s regions will serve as the focus for study and discussion. Students will engage with the material and each other through an ongoing review of current events for the relevant regions, with a particular focus on the geographic and cultural underpinnings for the events discussed.
