SO 4000 - Issues in Professional Practice: Human Services

This course prepares students for the challenges that are related to ethical issues and client’s rights, in addition to examining personal and professional counselor responsibilities in the Human Services profession. Students will explore the importance of confidentiality, maintaining boundaries, cultural competency, and multiple relationships as they relate to the professional codes of conduct and the law. 60+ credits (4 credits)
