PS 1110 - Introduction to Psychology

An introduction into the study of Psychology from the biological basis of brain development and functions, history and theories that helped to bring the science to where it is now. It includes aspects of human development, cognition, perception, memory, learning, social behavior, abnormal behaviors and treatments. This course will provide an overview of why people are how they are and get you started into investigating more about the science of Psychology. This course satisfies the LAS 4 Social Sciences requirement. (4 credits)
