ED 6400 - School Reform, School Leadership, and Curriculum Changes This course will review philosophical orientations to education, theories of social and organizational change, and leadership models while examining schools and districts from a systems perspective. Students will delve into who controls the curriculum, how curricular decisions impact student learning, and how to lead school change. Students will conduct an extensive review of recent research in the field of education and school reform. Participants will apply their understanding of various systems models to plan and design a complex systemic reform initiative. Credits: 4
