ILL 3520 - Children’s Book

Children’s Books illustration will concentrate on the process of creating a children’s picture book. The student will choose one of the six public domain stories offered and develop it into a 32 page narrative picture book-exploring character development, page layout, and composition as well as flow and continuity. Beginning with the storyboard, the student will create a thumbnail version of their story that will provide a guide as they develop the book dummy.
