HS 2030 - Revolutionary America This course will introduce students to major scholarly debates that continue to shape our understanding of American history today. By reading and analyzing cutting edge historical scholarship, students will learn how to evaluate and interpret major events from the Revolutionary era through their own eyes, and how to position their own arguments within those scholarly debates. Topics can range from the French and Indian War to the origins of the Civil War. Travel is required. Credits: 4 Formerly HS 3030, Revolutionary Republic 1783‐ 1809
