MAE 607 - Psych of Educational Development & Learning


This course will examine the impact of typical and atypical development of children from infancy through their school-aged years on their learning process and ability to meet academic demands place on them, and conversely explores the role of academic demands on facilitating developmental processes. Such areas as gross and fine motor capacity, attention, memory, emotional and sensory regulation, motivation, attachment needs and behavior will be examined as factors that both contribute to learning processes and are impacted by them.
