CMHC 5910 - Professional Issues and Ethics in CMHC

This course will help students explore the relationship between the law, and the framework of ethics, and clinical mental health counseling. Legal duties and the rights of clients and providers will be discussed. The course will also provide a forum for the exploration and analysis of ethical questions and dilemmas encountered by managers and clinicians in clinical mental health counseling. (3 credits)
