ED 6750 - Consultation and Collaboration in Alternative Education


This course provides an overview of models and strategies for coordinating services across disciplines and among school, family, and community agencies. Emphasis on interdisciplinary team coordination, communication, decision-making, planning, and follow-up for individuals. The course will also focus on the role of the alternative program as a consultant and resource to other educational programs and agencies. This course will focus on the National Alternative Education Association Exemplary Practices for Alternative Education. (3 Credits)
