PO 6550 - U.S. Foreign Policy This course will provide an analysis of American foreign policy from the perspectives of both domestic American politics and international relations. Policy with reference to the Soviet Union, the Third World, political and military allies, terrorism, nuclear and conventional weapons, international organizations and human rights are considered as they relate to specific presidencies. There will also be a discussion of post-9/11 US foreign policy and its differences from Cold War and post-Cold War world policies.
