ES 5510 - Sustainability: Principles and Models This course sets the landscape of sustainability theories and case studies of sustainability in practice for creating long-term competitive advantage and growth that takes into account the environment, the business model, and the impact of the organization in the social and economic wellbeing of the communities affected by the presence and activity of private, not for profit, and government agencies. The course will focus on the discussion of the triple‐bottom line: people, planet, and profits, and will extend the analysis to the quadruple bottom line as a recently emerging trend in sustainability management.
