Program Description
New England College’s Master of Science in Accounting is a 32-credit program designed for students with knowledge of accounting and finance, who want a deeper understanding of topics aligned with the Uniform CPA licensure exam: financial accounting and reporting, taxation and regulation, business analysis and reporting, and auditing and attestation. This program prepares students for career advancement in auditing and risk management, corporate accounting, management consulting, banking and financial services, governmental and nonprofit organizations, and taxation practices.
Learning Outcomes
- Students can prepare required financial statements based on U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Students can design, implement, and evaluate the accounting internal control system.
- Students can evaluate financial statements to ensure fair representation and compliance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, laws, and regulations.
