DBA 8724 - Dissertation IV: Data Collection

Students implement an approved research design and collect data. Emphasis is placed on data management, preliminary analysis, and progress reporting. The course stresses rigorous fieldwork procedures, including participant recruitment and consent, data security, codebooks and audit trails, and version control. Students conduct preliminary analyses to assess data quality and directional findings, and submit structured progress reports to the committee, maintaining fidelity to the research plan. Credits: 3 (May be repeated for credit. A maximum of 1 repeat is allowed.)
