DBA 8712 - Advanced Research Design

Building on previous methodological foundations, this course engages students in advanced research methods used in modern business studies. Qualitative research emphasizes designing and conducting in-depth interviews, leading focus groups, and analyzing case studies to examine complex organizational issues. Quantitative research techniques like linear regression and both parametric and non-parametric tests are explored. Students learn to develop rigorous research plans and apply coding and thematic analysis techniques. By the end of the course, students will be able to synthesize research results and incorporate empirical evidence into their dissertation or strategic project structure. Credits: 3
