AC 5270 - Intermediate Accounting II


This course is a continuation of an in-depth study of the conceptual framework of accounting and procedures for measuring, recording, and reporting of financial information presented through the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Statement of Cash flows prepared based on US GAAP. Detailed accounting treatment of liabilities, stockholder’s equity, and select Income Statement accounts are presented and discussed. Appropriate internal controls, financial analysis, authoritative justifications, accountants’ Code of Conduct, and compliance with pertinent laws and regulations are covered.  Prerequisite: AC 5230   Credits: 4
