HIM 6445 - Visualizing Healthcare Data

This course introduces students to information visualization including basic design and evaluation principles. They will learn to acquire, parse, cleanse, and analyze large datasets. Students will use both Excel and the business intelligence software Tableau to create visualized interpretations of multivariate, temporal, geo-spatial business, medical, and scientific data collected from diverse sources.
