EN 1930 - Survey of American Literature

This course is a survey encompassing conventionally celebrated voices as well as underrepresented voices of the American tradition. Though this course largely constrains its focuses to the major American literary movements, it does not ignore the importance of some of the unrecognized voices that have helped shape American literature and culture.
