AC 5230 - Intermediate Accounting I

This course provides an in-depth study of the conceptual framework of accounting and procedures for measuring, recording, and reporting of financial information presented through the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Statement of Cash flows prepared based on US GAAP. Detailed accounting treatment of current assets, long-term assets, and select Income Statement categories are presented and discussed. Appropriate internal controls, financial analysis, authoritative justifications, the accountants’ Code of Conduct, and compliance with pertinent laws and regulations are covered. Credits: 4
