PS 2160 - Life-Span Development


This course offers an overview of human development from conception to death. Humans all begin in the same manner and develop in both similar and unique physical, cognitive, social, and emotional ways. This course analyzes aspects of life that encourage optimum growth with an awareness of the different paths humans take to reach their individual potential. Finally, this course covers physical growth, psychological development, cognition and learning processes, social/emotional development, and environmental factors and influences, all of which directly and indirectly affect the growth of people throughout their life. This course satisfies the LAS 4 Social Sciences requirement. Credits: 4
