AC 2330 - Survey of Accounting

This introductory course has been designed for non-business majors. The goal is to introduce the topic of accounting in a way that will enable further study. Early in the term we will attempt to grow the students awareness of terms and concepts related to the general concept of what is accounting for. The eventual goal is to enable an understanding of the facts that come from financial statements and how they will impact the management decisions the company is obligated to make. Offered every fall and spring. Credits: 4
