PS 2420 - Systems of Care

This course is a “must” for any student who is interested in pursuing a career in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Child and Family Welfare, Mental Health, and in particular, Children’s Mental Health. Students will be afforded to opportunity to learn about the history, philosophy, and concepts of Systems of Care, as well as how Systems of Care can have a transformative effect in the lives of the individuals experiencing social and emotional difficulties and their families. Prerequisites: PS 1110 or PS 1120, PS 2050, and PS 2160. Offered every spring. Credits: 4
