ED 1020 - Psychology of Learning and Classroom/School Environment

This course will include the latest research on brain-based learning theories and introduce the practices and methods that work to support education success in all learners. Students will be introduced to methods of teaching and learning that will help them integrate neuroscience. Students will use the knowledge learned and apply it to ways they may operate within a school or educational organization. Students will utilize information to create a successful and safe classroom and enhance and develop a student-centered education environments. Offered every fall and spring. Credits: 4
