ED 3010 - Teaching Math

his course provides the essentials for new teachers to begin instructing mathematics. Students will be exposed to current methods of teaching mathematics. Students will be required to plan sample mathematics instruction for a whole class, as well as small groups.  They will be required to differentiate mathematical concepts based on Common Core Standards. Prerequisites: ED 1000 with a B- or better and ED 2010 . Offered every spring. Credits: 4 Note: Students will register for 1 credit ED 3920: Fieldwork Practicum.
