CO 2220 - Film: History and Criticism

This course surveys the history and development of film and introduces concepts in formalist film criticism. Students apply the knowledge and skills gained in this course to specific screenings in order to analyze movies representative of historical types or critical concepts. Credits: 4 May be repeated for credit.
