BU 1110 - Introduction to Business

This course serves as a foundation for the major in Business Administration. It introduces the core functions of business, including: accounting, finance, management, marketing, and human resources, from the perspective of both an entrepreneur and innovative business leader. Students will participate in experiential activities in class with other students and on their own that develop the innovative, entrepreneurial mind. This course features the simulation of the creation of a small business with each student creating and developing a viable business by the end of the course. Credits: 4
