ILL 3350 - Narrative Figure

This course will introduce and develop the utilization of the figure as an expressive narrative element in illustration. A variety of art genres, both historical and contemporary, will be analyzed and used to inform the successful and compelling integration of the figure in illustration. Students will complete exercises, studies, and finished works throughout the course while advancing their oil painting capabilities. Prerequisite: ILL111, AR1610 Credits: 4 Formerly ILL335
