WS 3060 (SO 3060) - Social Inequality Power in the U.S. and in the world ‐ its causes and consequences ‐ will be examined in this course. This is essentially a study of political and economic power and powerlessness. Specific topics to be discussed include poverty, hunger, homelessness, welfare, class conflict, racism, and sexism.
