CH 2110 - General Chemistry I The first part of a two-semester course that covers the fundamental concepts and principles of chemistry. Topics include atomic and molecular structure, periodic properties of the elements, acids & bases, stoichiometry, gas laws, and chemical bonding. The laboratory portion is used to further reinforce concepts introduced in the lecture by employing both cooperative and individual hands-on learning techniques. Prerequisites: MT 1600 . Offered every Fall. Credits: 4
