CS 2000 - Cybersecurity Principles

This course provides students with basic security design fundamentals that help create systems that are worthy of being trusted. Students will examine the principles of cybersecurity and why each principle is important to security and how it enables the development of security mechanisms that can implement desired security policies. Students will also examine common security failures and the interaction between security and system usability. 4 credits
