EN 4020 - Modes of Literary Criticism This course studies major critical theories and practices of literature from Aristotle to contemporary critics, including but not limited to Aristotelian criticism, romantic criticism, myth criticism, new criticism, deconstruction, structuralism, and feminist criticism. Prerequisites: A lower level literature course or permission of instructor. Offered every other spring. (4 Credits)
