EC 2130 - Contemporary Economic Issues

A critical probe of selected contemporary national and international economic issues. The selected issues will be explored, analyzed, and evaluated within the context of pertinent socio‐economic underpinnings and competing ideological perspectives. The issues are drawn from five general categories: Labor and workplace; Social safety programs and policies; Free market operation and market failure; Government intervention and regulation; and Globalization and International trade.
