Program Outcomes

Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills in a business setting.
Describe the introductory concepts, basic theories and fundamental practices in the principal functional areas of business.

Business Requirements

Program requires a minimum of 32 credits in Business including the following courses.

BU 1110 - Introduction to Business Credits: 4
BU 2110 - Statistics and Operations Management Credits: 4
BU 2210 (AC 2210) - Financial Accounting Credits: 4
BU 2220 (AC 2220) - Management Accounting Credits: 4
BU 2410 - Leadership Across Borders and Cultures Credits: 4
BU 2430 (CT 2430) - Information Systems in Organizations Credits: 4
BU 2510 - Principles of Marketing Credits: 4

Business Electives

Select a minimum of 4 credits in Business (BU) at the 2000 level or higher.

LAS 1 (LAS 1110) - The Natural Environment - Understanding Our Place in the Natural World Credits: 4
WR 1010 - Composition Credits: 4 or approved LAS Writing course.
