Program Outcomes

Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills in a business setting.
Describe the introductory concepts, basic theories and fundamental practices in the principal functional areas of business.
Apply basic business principles to support sustainable enterprise.

Business Requirements

Program requires a minimum of 32 credits in Business including the following courses.

Select a minimum of 4 credits in Business (BU) at the 2000 level or higher.

Select 12 credits from the following list:

(Note: Courses which are being used to fulfill discipline-specific requirements cannot count in the additional 12 credit requirement.)

LAS 2 (LAS 1120) - The Civic Environment - Democratic Values (4 Credits)
LAS 3 (LAS 2110) - Creative Arts (4 Credits)
LAS 4 (LAS 2120) - Social Sciences (4 Credits)
LAS 5 (LAS 2130) - Natural and Biological Sciences (4 Credits)
LAS 6 (LAS 2140) - Humanities (4 Credits)
LAS 7 (LAS 3110) - Global Perspectives (4 Credits)
Quantitative Literacy - MT 1000 or higher (MT 1100 Recommended) (4 credits)

Select additional electives to reach the 60 credits for an Associate’s degree.
