HSEP 2450 - Introduction to Homeland Security Planning Students will develop an understanding of military and civilian planning processes and how to develop strategic plans and how to implement them in times of crisis. Various planning techniques used by the Department of Defense (Primarily, the Joint Operational Planning Process, or JOPP) and similar techniques used by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, FEMA, and state and local governments will be examined. (4 credits)
