CT 4111 - Network and Cyber Security This course in network security provides an authoritative overview of security for every type of system, from traditional centralized systems to distributed networks and the Internet. The course includes topics on state-of‐ the‐art networking; cryptography; program and operating system security; administration; legal, privacy, and ethical issues, and much more. The course will describe each important area from a user’s point of view and lays out the security vulnerabilities and threats. Prerequisites: CT 2430 or permission of instructor. (4 Credits)
