CH 2120 - General Chemistry II

The second part of a two-semester course that covers the fundamental concepts and principles of chemistry. Topics include chemical bonding, a deeper study of acids & bases, kinetics, chemical equilibrium, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, and additional topics. The laboratory portion is used to further reinforce concepts introduced in the lecture by employing both cooperative and individual hands-on learning techniques. Prerequisites: CH 2110. Offered every spring. Credits: 4
