ED 7051 - Special Education Administrator: Roles and Responsibilities


This course will explore the roles and responsibilities of Special Education Administrators in PK-12 school and district systems. Students will understand the models, theories, and philosophies that are associated with the administration of special education services;  they will identify and be able to explain the range of educational programming available to students with disabilities; they will learn how to effectively plan, implement, and review programs and services that support learners and those who work with them; they will learn how to work collaboratively with organizations, agencies, and partners and resources to effectively support students with disabilities. (3 credits)
